RecruitOwl.in ("we", "our", "us") provides AI-powered candidate intake and scoring tools for recruiters. This policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect data on our platform.

1. Data Collection & Usage

  • Recruiter Account Data: We collect name, work email, and billing details to manage your subscription, process trials, and send product updates via Resend.
  • Candidate Profile Data: Information submitted via WhatsApp or web intake links (including contact details, CTC, notice period, tech stack, and experience) is processed solely to generate match scorecards and reports.

2. Candidate Consent & DPDP Compliance

  • Opt-In Consent: Candidates provide explicit consent before their profile data is processed via automated WhatsApp intake triggers or web forms.
  • No AI Model Training: Candidate data is strictly isolated to your account. We never sell candidate data, and we do not use any recruiter or candidate data to train AI models.

3. Data Storage, Security & Retention

  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest using enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure.
  • Data is retained only as long as your recruiter account remains active. Account owners can trigger permanent candidate data deletion (Right to Erasure) at any time directly via their recruiter dashboard.
